Can I use DAXTOP on multiple computers?
Yes. Because DAXTOP runs in the browser, any computer, tablet, or handheld can be a workstation — sign in and it joins your live system. Counter terminals, kiosks, back-office desktops, and the owner's laptop all see the same products, prices, stock counts, and orders in real time.
Every user gets their own account with a role, so a cashier's screen and permissions differ from a manager's or the accountant's. Multiple registers in one store share one printer bridge: if several DAXTOP sessions run on the same checkout PC, AnyPrint's port fallback lets them share the receipt printer cleanly.
No per-device installation to manage
There is nothing to install for the platform itself — only AnyPrint is installed once on machines that drive a receipt printer. Adding a new register is: open the browser, sign in, plug in the printer.
Typical device setups
A small store usually runs one counter PC with a USB receipt printer and a barcode scanner, plus the owner's laptop for the back office. A restaurant adds tablets for the floor and a kitchen screen or ticket printer per station. A multi-branch retailer adds a desktop at the warehouse for receiving and transfers. None of these devices needs special provisioning — they are browsers signed into roles.
Because sessions are per-user rather than per-machine, staff can move between devices during a shift, and closing a register is an account action, not a hardware ritual. Lost or stolen devices are handled by revoking the account's access — the data was never on the device to begin with.
