What is AnyPrint?

AnyPrint (anyprint.app) is a free Windows desktop application built by DAXTOP that solves one specific problem: browsers cannot talk to USB devices, so a browser-based POS cannot print receipts by itself. AnyPrint runs quietly on the checkout PC, accepts print jobs from your DAXTOP store over a secure local API on 127.0.0.1:3088, and sends native ESC/POS commands straight to the printer.

It is deliberately minimal and secure: it binds only to the local machine, requires a token on every request, sends no data to any cloud, needs no account, and updates itself silently. Install it once, plug in a USB thermal printer, and receipts print in under a second.

Free, and not locked to DAXTOP

AnyPrint is free forever — no subscription, no limits. It pairs with DAXTOP stores automatically, and its local HTTP API is fully documented, so any web application running on the same PC can integrate receipt printing the same way. Five-minute setup

Installation is deliberately unremarkable: download the installer from anyprint.app, run it, plug in the USB printer, and open your DAXTOP store in the browser — the store detects the bridge automatically and a test print confirms the path. The tray icon shows printer status at a glance, and silent updates keep every checkout current without anyone touching it.

If several registers run on one PC, AnyPrint's port fallback (3088–3092) lets multiple sessions share the bridge; if a printer is unplugged and reconnected, detection recovers on its own. The design goal is that after day one, nobody thinks about printing again.
